On Friday, we released 15 Vancouver Island marmots to 5 colonies in the Nanaimo Lakes region. This is the second group of marmots released this summer, following 12 marmots released to Mount Washington in late June.
We still have more marmots to the release, but until then, enjoy this footage some of our releases on Friday getting their first taste of living in the wild!
